The Third Avenue Village Association, known as TAVA, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create, promote and champion a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly destination leading to increased sales, property values and community pride. The district of Third Avenue Village encompasses Third Avenue from E Street to I Street as well as the immediate block east and west of Third Avenue. This business district combines the best of Chula Vista’s past with a thriving modern scene spreading along a 16-block area along the Third Avenue commercial corridor.
Current projects include partnering with the City of Chula Vista to facilitate the Third Avenue Streetscape Project, implementing a branded banner program and improving special events aimed at bringing visitors to the Village. In addition to marketing the district, TAVA maintains the enhanced appearance of the district with our maintenance crew who work seven days a week.
Certainly, what makes Third Avenue Village truly special are the people who live, work, and play in the community. Come and explore this lively and picturesque neighborhood, enjoy a variety of local and popular food establishments, get together with friends and family at one of our entertaining festivals, bike or walk around our newly renovated street, and taste the infusion of excitement that our upcoming craft industry brings.
