Stroll the Sweetest Sour Event of the Year!

Squeeze the day at the 24th annual Lemon Festival presented by Third Avenue Village Association in Chula Vista’s original neighborhood on Saturday, August 14.

Sweet sour summer fun will fill Third Avenue Village from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at no cost to the community to celebrate Chula Vista’s historic reign as the lemon capital of the world. Village business members will host specials along the tree lined sidewalks for eager attendees sporting bright yellow outfits and rejoicing in this juicy jubilee. Partnering with Arts in the Park, the Third Avenue Village Lemon Festival will be sure to keep the sour out of your smile.

Enjoy lemon-infused activities, live bands, sour contests with prizes provided by MyPoint Credit Union, lemony beverages, lemon infused treats, art walk, costume parade, kid’s activities, face painting, a performance that includes Fern Street Circus, comedians, musicians and more.

Third Avenue will remain open to traffic, but a portion of Davidson Street will close to host local bands blasting tangy tunes and entertaining attendees competing for prizes at the Dulcet Bakery lemon pie eating contest.
