Historically speaking…

Opening in 2020, the historic Vogue Theater will be reinvented as a concert venue and an eating and drinking destination with bars on the first and second floors, an outdoor beer garden, space for food trucks, patios, and family-friendly event space. The project will pay homage to the historic theater by preserving the old facade with a minimally invasive remodel and host outdoor movie screenings by projecting movies onto the side of the building.

Look forward to even more transformations on Third Avenue into 2020 as we welcome new businesses, remodels, and finalize Streetscape Phase III.

Embrace the change, visit the Third Avenue Village!

Stroll the sweetest sour event of the year!

Sweet sour summer fun will fill Third Avenue from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4 at no cost to the community. Sport your brightest yellow outfit and enjoy lemon-infused treats as you stroll and enjoy hundreds of vendor booths, live bands, sour contests, a kid’s grove of fun, and the festival’s lemony adult beverage stand.

Overflowing with interactive features and giveaways from event sponsors and community partners Scripps Health, MTS, and NBC Universal, you will find that no fest has more zest than this neighborhood tradition.

Don’t let looking for parking sour your day – take MTS to the Chula Vista Lemon Festival! Ride the UC San Diego Blue Line Trolley to Palomar or H St. and take route 701 right to the festivities. Also, Route 929 takes you just steps away from Memorial Park.

Squeeze the day at the 23rd annual Lemon Festival.
